For our Manchester Clinic call:
Doctorcall is fully approved by the Healthcare Commission.
Approved by the Healthcare Commission
The Healthcare Commission - full name the Commission for Healthcare Audit and Inspection - was set up by the government in 2003 as an independent body to promote continuous improvement in the quality of healthcare in the UK, for the benefit of patients in both the NHS and the private healthcare sector.
It regulates the private healthcare sector mainly by directly inspecting the performance of providers, assessing the quality and value for money of the service provided, and producing reports on them.
A glowing report
After the Commission's latest inspection of Doctorcall in 2006, they concluded that overall Doctorcall:
"was providing a satisfactory service to its patients in a clean and well maintained environment and staff were helpful, professional and courteous at all times.
Quality assurance and risk management systems were in place, with evidence of effective action planning for continuous improvement of standards.
The quality of clinical care and treatment was delivered to a good standard, in line with accepted professional guidelines and recommendations."
