24-hour medical advice

It can be very reassuring to talk to a doctor from Britain if you, a colleague or family member falls ill abroad, especially where reliable medical help is hard to find.

Doctorcall operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This means a doctor is always available to give you good advice, whenever you call. We can help you with general questions like ‘Should you rest or carry on working?’, ‘What medicine should you take?’ and can also answer more specific questions.

While long-range diagnosis has obvious limitations, often a conversation can reassure you. Or occasionally the doctor may realise that a condition is much more serious than you appreciate and will recommend urgent action - and in these cases advice can be life-saving.

The fee for a telephone consultation is £50 (day, 7am-10pm GMT) and £70 (night, 10pm-7am GMT).
